WC3L XIII Playday 7
Play day seven of the WC3L begins today contributing a third helping of intense Warcraft action alongside the Extreme Masters and SEC events in Germany.
The first two teams to clash this week will be recent NGL champions MeetYourMakers versus Mortal Team Work. MYM have been having a rough go of it this season, it would appear as though they’re having trouble finding consistency. The team lost a close game to Mousesports early in the season and continued to slip from there suffering a devastating loss to BeT the following week. The team managed to bounce back beating PGS, destroying WICKED and putting up a tough fight against SK the following weeks only to drop the ball and roll over for World Elite in their last play day losing three of their matches two maps to nil.
MYM have put their toughest opponents behind them and have predominantly second tier opponents ahead of them. Despite being tied in fifth place with World Elite at the moment, MYM should theoretically be able to rack up a mass of points from now until the end of the season to secure a spot in the finals.
The recent loss of Shy and FoCus could present a few problems for MYM, FoCuS was utilized in almost every team game MYM played and so his presence is sure to be missed, we’ll see how they cope this week.
Other matches this week include Beijing E-sports Team vs. WICKED eSports, SK Gaming vs. Serious Gaming, Mousesports vs. PGS.PokerStrategy, Team Alternate vs. Team Fnatic and World Elite vs. Hoorai.XQ.
