WCG confirms games for 2008

The World Cyber Games (WCG) organisation announced today their list of games for competition in 2008. The games are selected using an online poll allowing fans and competitors to choose their favorite new titles.

The WCG Grand Finals are held in various locations around the world, from San Francisco to Seoul. This year the WCG committee has chosen Cologne, Germany as their final destination. Cologne is a well established location for e-sports events having just recently played host to the ESL Extreme Masters Global Finals and the Samsung European Championships, another WCG event.

The Grand Finals will be held in Cologne, Germany at the Koelnmesse Event Hall between November 5th-9th, the WCG is expected to draw over 700 competitors from 74 countries around the world.
