Wei Liang “Fly100%” Lu of Mousesports has confirmed that he will not be attending the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational as a result of a denied visa request, he has also opted out of the ESWC Masters event.
Lu has had more than his fair share of visa troubles, just a few months ago he found himself stranded in London, unable to attend the NGLONE finals, as a result of visa complications.
Fortunately, Daniel “XlorD” Spenst has accepted an invitation from Blizzard to attend in Lu’s absence. The addition of Spenst balances the event, with four players from Europe and four from Asia now attending, there are also now two of each of the four races now in attendance.
The Blizzard Worldwide Invitation kicks off this weekend, Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th of June 2008 at the Porte de Versailles Exposition Center in Paris, France.
