After months of warming the bench, Samuli “elfittaja” Sihvonen is finally eligible to compete with Gravitas Gaming without fear of legal repercussion.
Sihvonen 17, had expressed interest in leaving hoorai earlier in the year. The hoorai organisation saw him as a valuable asset who was still under contract and as a result denied his request to continue his career with Gravitas.
Sihvonen then refused to compete with his team, forcing their hand which resulted in his dismissal from active duty. The young star was benched for the remainder of his contract, though continued practicing and competing in the ESL’s European Nations Championship as a Finnish national player.
The contract between team and player has now expired leaving Sihvonen to go wherever he chooses and naturally, he’s choosing Gravitas. Despite being forbidden to play with any other team, Sihvonen was added to the Gravitas Gaming NGLONE and WC3L rosters back in April, as a result he is now able to compete at the NGLONE finals without issue.
Sihvonen is one of the most promising young players in Europe at the moment having proven his worth by being one of few hoorai players to consistently accumulate points for the team. With the wealth of experience that already exists within Gravitas it should prove to be a nurturing environment for the young hopeful.
With the addition of elfittaja Gravitas now have a powerful undead at their disposal, making them that much more dangerous as a competitor. Gravitas have successfully qualified for the NGLONE finals and the WC3L regular season.
The Gravitas roster is as follows:
Robert “Rob” Abdrakhmanov Oleg “TitaN” Kuptsov Mykhaylo “HoT” Novopashyn Mihail “XyLigan” Ryabkov Samuli “elfittaja” Sihovonen
