Gravitas Gaming signs HoT
Longtime member Mykhaylo “HoT” Novopashyn has left SK today and will continue his career under the newly formed, American founded team, Gravitas Gaming.
HoT has always been a valuable team play for SK often picking up crucial points during WC3L and NGL matches, making him a solid choice for Gravitas. Having only just formed a few months back Gravitas are still trying to fight their way into the best of online leagues. HoT has always been a reliable point’s accumulator for SK and is liable to continue to do so for Gravitas in their bid to make it into the majors.
Founder of Gravitas, Corbin “cbnz” Crnkovic confirms the notion.
“It is always a big day in an organization when you can add a player like HoT to your team, and we feel this addition will bring Gravitas to the top. The team has what it takes to make the finals of any league and I hope we will see them there.”
Despite a wide spread rumor the move still comes as somewhat of a surprise to some. It was stated that Mykhaylo’s contract had expired and a new one could not be negotiated, an indication that maybe SK’s new Korean fetish had cut into his earnings, perhaps even undermined his usefulness.
Mykhaylo had this to say about the changes.
”I just left the team which was my home for around 4 years so I really don’t know what to say. First of all it’s a very important day in my life and I am a bit nervous but still I am very happy at the same time. I know everyone from the team for quite a long time and I am in quite good relations with everyone in the team. I am very pleased with the attitude of the management to the players so I will do my best not to disappoint anyone, and will be working hard for my new team. I really hope we will all reach our goals.”
Adding such a prestigious player could be just the confidence booster this team needs to successfully navigate their qualifier games.
Team mate Robert “Rob” Abdrakhmanov was unable to contain his excitement.
”Hell yeah , now we have full roster of very good players which feel comfortable with each other and have motivation to reach the top. ”
