NGL One Playday 9 Coverage
The final play day of the NGL One regular Warcraft season is here bringing with it some interesting matches.
The first match this week proves to have the most riding on it as both teams have something to gain. SK Gaming is fighting to keep their perfect record intact being the only team this season to win all of their games. mTw on the other hand will be playing for a spot in the finals, a long shot if ever there was one. In order for mTw to make it to the finals, Mouz can’t take any more than one point versus their opponent this week. As if that wasn’t a big enough hurdle, mTw also have to do what no other team has managed this season by not only taking a win versus SK, but also taking at least three points in the process. It’s a long shot, but stranger things have happened.
Next up this week is Mousesports against Hoorai and as previously stated, Mousesports have to take this victory and gain two points to make sure their fate rests in their own hands and not SK’s. Hoorai have done well this season and it’s not inconceivable that on any other day they could beat Mouz, but with so much riding on this game it’s hard to believe they’ll be able to overcome Mousesports’ raw determination and power.
Can Mousesports hold onto their position or will mTw pull off the upset of the season and take advantage of a complacent SK? There’s only one way to find out!
