NGL One announces 07/08 finals

With the regular season now behind them, the NGL saw fit to release information in regards to the season finals tonight.

The Finals will take place in Berlin, Germany at the WebTower between February 22nd-24th. Four teams competing in both Counter-Strike and Warcraft 3 will attend in an effort to claim the title and a piece of a collective prize purse of $51,000 USD.

The WebTower is cited as as being a great venue for this year’s event by helping to put emphasis on the spectator experience. The NGL has made a strong effort to ensure the event is well covered within the community and has ample spectator options.

All matches will be available on HLTV, IPTV and Waaagh!TV, while GameSports.de will offer first person VODS and even camera feeds from the players arena.

As was the case last year, the Counter-Strike prize fund is over twice the size of Warcraft’s, a trend sure to change next season as this will be the final Counter-Strike 1.6 event from the NGL.

The prize purse will be distributed as follows:
