You will be required to cover both online and offline events, write original content and provide daily news posts. Extensive knowledge in both the game and the community is a must for this position. Proof readers are an important part of the writing process at ESGC. We employ writers from all over across the world and so proof readers with a good eye are essential. Almost all of the content posted on the website will be in English for the benefit of our international audience. Proficiency in written English is a must.

Despite being mainly focused on the European gaming culture, a lot of focus is put on the Chinese WarCraft 3 community for example. We need translators in an effort to produce the most accurate content we can. Although the site is in English, we expect to be able to translate certain high interest articles into both Chinese and Korean, to accommodate our international audience and so these are the languages most likely to get you a job. A good grasp of both English and either Korean or Chinese are a must.

A large portion of our content requires graphics to complete the process. Good graphics artists are always needed at ESGC. Experience in this field is helpful but not essential. A good understanding of English will be needed as we will occasionally require you to design graphics specific to the writer’s requirements.
